Event Support USERRA Training

We worked with our partners at Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to create these brief videos covering the basics of Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) rights and responsibilities. It is specifically tailored to address subjects of concern to Service members and families as they prepare for and return from deployment.

YRRP event planners can use these videos to fulfill the Department of Defense (DoD) requirements to provide ESGR/USERRA information at pre-deployment and post-deployment Yellow Ribbon events. It is highly recommended each of the videos be shown in conjunction with the introduction of local ESGR volunteers or staff so event attendees know the proper point(s) of contact for follow-up questions.

Presenters are encouraged to summarize the video’s key points, but should not “rehash” the entire video.
